Detroit will either move Henrik Zetterberg from the wing to center, or play Hudler, if he proves he is ready in training camp, in the middle. The Red Wings are short a couple of centers due to the shifting of Steve Yzerman to left wing and the defection of Sergei Fedorov to Anaheim. Hudler, the Wings' 58th pick in the 2002 entry draft, is a crafty playmaking pivot with strong skating skills. Could he be the next rookie surprise in Detroit? Stay tuned."

And we shouldn't, or at least AS shouldn't hear the end of it. I questioned passing on Hudler at the time myself. Could that many scouts be wrong? Yes, they can. I was willing to give AS the benefit of the doubt, in case Linhart was an undiscovered diamond in the rough. It's looking more like Linhart is just the rough.
