Question on buying a hockey stick

Hello all.
I need to buy a hockey stick with a plastic blade because I'll be using it to play cosom hockey. I can't stand the "traditional" full plastic cosom hockey stick because they are always too short for me (I'm almost 6'3'') and I don't want to stupidly hurt my back using one.
I was on Ste-Catherine last week so I went to the Sports Experts. They seem to have a nice selection, but I did not investigated further because I didn't know exactly what I wanted and I was with my gf.
So, do any of you guys have any tips on buying a stick? I'm by no means good or even average, so I'm not interested in paying too much, but I would be ready to drop 20 or 30 bucks for something a little more confortable. Also, do you know any better place than Sports Experts in Montreal (and easily accessible)?
