I saw Dumont deke Giguere and score last night in a 5-2 Buffalo win at Anaheim. Yup, the air is out of the balloon.

warning: if you don't catch the meaning of this post it's more of a sidejoke for people who had to defend Theodore at HF last year when a bunch of idiots were saying that Theodore was Jim Carey redux. Ahem, AHEM!

I wouldn't call them "idiots". It's an opinion, and while I disagree with them, Theodore's play last season was definitly concerning. Not that the comparision with Carey is a good comparision, but Theodore has yet to prove that he can carry a team the way he did two seasons ago. He was quite solid until now, but nothing exeptionnal. Of course, a more disciplined defense makes it harder for him to sow his talent, but he is supposed to be the best player on our team.

mic, believe me, the arguments they were bringing up and some of the proposals avs fans were coming up for Theodore during the summe would make you say the same thing.
