Cherry has too much influence on young players & still uses it the wrong way. During Coaches Corner he was talking about the Phauneuf hit. After he was done he added " I hope he drops the visor when he gets to the NHL" And this was said after Owen Nolan had to be helped off the ice with an eye injury.
He is still propagating that macho myth about visors and it's about time he was told to stop.
