Weird. I would have preferred a western team. I guess I shouldn't be worried that he could hurt us but he was one of our only big guy who can skate....

On the Fan590 they mentioned that they might have picked him up to include him in a bigger deal....
or

I think his eye injury really slowed him down. He was good for us for about a year. No fire in him.
What does it means for us? Gainey is just saving some $ (11 games left)? Or is there a trade going on that would a player to Mtl...? 3 hours to find out...

I think he's not only saving bucks for this year but for the next year as well (I believe Kilger signed a 2-year contract before this season).

I heard Ferguson on the radio tonight. They seem to think that they can bring out something in him that others couldn't.
The guy is only 27 and already on his sixth team. He is what he is. He will start fast for the leafs like he always does, they think they will have something and then he will settle in to his usual frutrating routine.
