Nucks in 5.
The Canucks will dominate from beginning to end, plus now they have the added mantra of "Do it for Big Bert"
Cloutier is suspect, but the Canucks will play this playoffs like the Oilers of the 80's. Cloutier will surrended 4 most nights but Naslund, Morrison, et al will supply 5.

I have to go with my second favourite team. With home ice advantage and experience in last years playoffs they're going to pull it out in six.

Flames in 6 because of two things:
1.) Defense; 2.) Clutch scoring.
Sounds a lot like how the Devils play.

Nucks in 5, they are just a better rounded and more experienced team. Cloutier's jinx will at least survive until the second round.

Watching the first period of game 3, Cloutier played very well. Quite a contrast after watching Theodore stink it up in Montreal.
Edit: Too bad he injured his knee and might not be back.

The refs blew it last night. With less than a minute left in the game, Ohlund absolutely boarded Iginla face first into the boards from behind. The NHL should use it as a classic video example of a 5-minute boarding call. Flames would have gone two-men up (goalie pulled) with a chance to tie. And Ohlund would have been gone for the next game, right? Or just the remainder of that game?
No call. Iginla was forced into taking it into his own hands and he took on the much bigger Ohlund very well.
I've seen more than the usual missed calls/poor officiating this season, and it's continuing into the playoffs.

I've seen more than the usual missed calls/poor officiating this season, and it's continuing into the playoffs. There is a difference between a missed cal and an ignored call. When the ref looks at the play and allows garbage to happen, then calls the retaliation, there is definitely a problem. There continues to definitely be a problem with NHL reffing..

I've seen more than the usual missed calls/poor officiating this season, and it's continuing into the playoffs. Yep, should have been a major. Having said that, Ohlund is indeed bigger than Iginla, but apatosaurs were bigger than anyone and only scared plants, so you may be using a misleading analogy. Ohlund fought like the Swede he is, that is to say, very badly. Great battle between he and Iginla the whole series. So far the Flames are proving the usual issue with Sutter coached teams. They never have that extra gear you need in the playoffs, because they've been using it all year. Excellent game between the two on Sunday, but the Canucks had enough talent to score two skilled goals....the Flames - only one.

The Flames came back from 4-0 to get into OT....
The 1st period was one of the worst I've ever seen, but the other two were quite fun.
I wonder if I'll last all the way to the winning goal though.
We've seen Jovo and Rucinsky get hurt and give up on the ongoing play..... no calls of any kind. *sigh*

Morrison works his way out of the corner in the 3rd OT...and outwaits Kiprusoff a la Ribeiro's second goal in Game 4. Vancouver dodged a huge bullet.
What an exiciting end-to-end OT...all of it. If that had been Habs-Bruins, I would have passed out.

Yup, the first two OT's were good. Went to sleep after that....

Anyone who thought MTL might have a goalie controversy just needs to look at Vancouver - playing their #3 guy while the #2 guy is just fine, and the #1 is hurt.
For a coach to sit his #2 (that they got specifically to back up their #1) and play an unproven kid can't make him GM all warm and fuzzy....

Calgary wins: to face Detroit.
San Jose hosts Colorado for the next round.
Winner of Sens/Leafs get to rematch the Flyers. Cool!
