I guess 2003-2004 was the Bruin's decadal attempt at a Cup run. Now that it's over, back to being cheap.

Thornton and his big Davos announcement. Why is this so shocking? If there's no NHL, he goes over there with a hundred other players. If it's the fact he's still a RFA, there's a hundred others like him right now, including several right here. I understand the loss of the other players, but I don't get why people say that Boston is hurt by his signing a conditional contract in Europe considering the labour war currently ongoing.
