Just watching the Canada-Slovakia game on SportsNet. I have to say it sure is great watching hockey again. Only bad thing is having to put up with the play by play duo. Harry Neale & the "Holy Mackinaw" guy are truly annoying. Neale's "jokes" are pathetic and the other guy laughs every single time! He ranges from guffaws from the belly to nervous school girl giggles. I was actually pining for the 'ol fossil Bob Cole. Another reason to hate the Leafs.

I enjoyed the game, hated the fact we had to watch the Blue Jays finish their game against the Yankees (they were down by 12 freaking runs at the end, switch to the hockey game!!!". The commentary was horrible in my oppinion with the play-by-play guy saying Iginla was behind the net when it was obviously a left handed shot and saying that Sakic was behind the net (or someone else) when it was an obviously a right-hand shot.
The game was great though, not a lot of Clutching and grabbing and Mario looked Magnificant. I'm really looking forward to the actual beginning of the World Cup.

Yeah, That Bowman, or whatever his name is, is really terrible. From his huge belly laughs whenever Neale tries to be funny, to the "Holy Mackinaw!!" Just idiotic!!! The worst is his feable attempts to say the name "St. Louis." Most people say "San-louee." This dork says "Saw-Louee." Really annoying!
