www.rds.ca/hockey/chroniques/162258.htmlA new era can begin That also means that the Bulldogs defense is getting very thin. Does it mean that Dykhuis stays ? Veteran presence is definitly needed, but can probably be a tad cheaper.

Whew, for a second I thought the subject referred to a galactic travel agency: "Traverse a Star - complimentary towel and peanuts".
Good for Patrick that he latched on somewhere. Seems almost a certainty that Dykhuis ends his current contract as Habs' property.

If we're lucky Dallas will send him to Hamilton. The Pat came back the very next day We thought he was a goner But the Pat came back

What you guys don't know is that Traverse has gained 20 pounds of pure muscle and has changed his game completely. In fact...... His personal trainer said that his 6'4" frame has jumped to a game capable 220 pounds. On top of that, he has adopted a much meaner attitude on the ice to compliment his new found wicked shot. Sadly, I will miss the new Traverse.

Sadly, I will miss the new Traverse. If this is so, why would Habs brass let him walk? I trust Gainey's judgement more than Dallas' current management. Could there be some kind of side deal to accompany this signing?

Traverse vs. Komo. I think the choice is quite obvious (no more all-nighters, class).

I was the first on the bandwagon to get Brisebois and Traverse exiled. Brisebois made a turnaround last year and earned 25% of his salary. Still he contributed. My wildcard turnaround this year was Traverse. (No I don't like him but I wanted to see him get a chance in training camp). Traverse is 6'4" and if he ever lived up to his promise he showed in Ottawa it was worth giving him a chance. He needed to learn to hit and play within himself taking fewer chances. Add a few pounds to decent speed for a big man and?? He has as much talent as Paris Hilton and?? This really is a stretch, even for me, but good luck Patrick. More important may be good luck Dallas, they'll need it with Traverse.

The title of this post is misleading. Traverse was never a star.

The title of this post is misleading. Traverse was never a star. Killer asteroid Toutouis strikes Minnesota. Slips through Traverse's legs.
