Brashear barred for seasonTeam appealing. Accused of punching player lying on ice PAT HICKEY The Gazette Friday, December 17, 2004 Donald Brashear, the No. 1 draw in the Ligue Nord-Americaine de Hockey, has been suspended for the remainder of the season.
Brashear was one of three Radio Xers hit with suspensions yesterday as the result of some unpleasantries during a Dec. 7 game in Thetford Mines.
But Radio X has appealed Brashear's suspension and a 12-game suspension to former Canadien Sylvain Blouin. the whole sad storyYou'd think they'd learn . . .

I could not get the link to work but what I saw on The Score was that he was suspended for REPEATEDLY punching the player while he was on the ice.
Let's hope the league does not back down on the suspension.
