Big, slo, time to go.
Nice guy, asset in the locker room, liability on the ice against fast small forwards.
We will miss his strength, but there are other younger guys in the wings waiting for their chance.
You always regret it when the nice guys leave and celebrate when the Rucinsky's and, Czerkawski's leave. Q-ball gave his best and we appreciate his efforts.

Some were speculating that the "future considerations" were the right to talk to Ian Laperriere before July 1st, but I guess that speculation is moot since Lappy signed with Colorado.
I would imagine that the future considerations were likely a mid to late 2005 draft pick conditional upon LA being able to come to terms with Q. As we know, they did. No word yet on what we get in return?
