QUEBEC -- When a hockey player is asked about suiting up for his or her country, the player often replies that the opportunity to do so is an honour.
When forward Yan Stastny uttered this response before his homecoming at Le Colisée Pepsi last night, his words caused some chuckles among the group of reporters.
Stastny, 22, was born in Quebec City, plays in Germany, has Slovak heritage, but donned the red, white and blue of the United States in an exhibition game against Canada last night.
