I want to hear from you the experts.....You guys have seen him in juniors.....I know he is going to be a star but is he as good as people say ( the next Gretzky)...People in Pittsburgh have the Penguins in the Cup finals already, and Crosby in the Hall of Fame

Sid is going to be great IMO. The next "Great One"? I dunno about that. I think the league will do what it can to make that possible, and to ride his coat tails though. They need a face.

I'm always skeptical of kids who have this much buzz about them. There is so much pressure on them to live up to their hype, that there's always the realistic possibilty that it might blow up in their face.
Pegging Pittsburgh in the Cup finals or Crosby in the Hall of Fame is a tad bit premature. I'm not sure if Crosby is going to even help the Pens make the playoffs this year. People in Pittsburgh should remember that after the Pens drafted Lemieux, they missed the playoffs in five of his first six years there.

Gretzkys come along every 100 years. Crosby will be GREAT but the next GREAT ONE?? |
