I liked Lacroix's comments about Brisebois possessing a rare combo of size and skill. The times he used his size and skill together in Montreal were pretty rare too.
P.S. However, I must say I am happy to see him land with a good team.

PB plays like a man much smaller than he is. Good effort, but overmatched. If the Avs thought they were losing that type of player in Skoula, (on which I disagree), then they've just replaced him.

This doesn't hurt as much as when the Avs got Roy...as a matter of fact, this doesn't hurt at all.

Brisebois' going to make $1.5M this season and $3M the next. $3M for Brisebois?? Looks like his days of being overpaid in the NHL aren't over yet.

No knock against Brisebois or Turgeon, but it's a good illustration of the impact of the new CBA, watching Colorado downgrade their depth at center, and D, in replacing Forseberg / Foote, with Turgeon / Brisebois.
It's no longer viable to have a Colorado team of old, with two superstar centers, a superstar goalie, a superstar defenceman, and various other stars on D and wings.

Happy for Brisebois but I don't see the Avs being as much a power as they were, loss of Foote, Forsberg Skoula, Selanne Kariya won't compensate for the addition of softies like Patrice and Turgeon. After they stole Roy from us good to see them struggling next year

Do they have direct flights from Denver to Paris or does he have to make a connection in Montreal or New York?
