Spurned by Sean Burke on Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Penguins responded by acquiring goaltender Jocelyn Thibault from the Chicago Blackhawks Wednesday in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2006 Entry Draft. Burke was considering an offer from the Penguins, but signed instead with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Good move by Pittsburgh, getting some experience to help out M-A Fleury.

Thibault should provide some stable goaltending as well. At the same time, we get to face him more often. Fun.

A 4th round pick?! Might as well have been a half dozen bagels (the day old kind). Is his contract that pricey?
