Hockey Canada unveils new uniforms for Turin. www.tsn.ca/canadian_hockey/news_story.asp?ID=133807&hubName=canadian_hockeyThese are nothing short of horrible! Look like a second tier European team without the advertisements. Why couldn't they just use this new technology on their current jersey design? Why do they have to re-design before every Olympics, especially when the old uniforms were extremely nice? Ugly, ugly, ugly...

I don't know. I'd take the "flying V" over these things any day. On the bright side though, the current Team Canada jerseys should be coming on sale real soon. I knew I've been holding off on getting one for a reason.

I saw the jerseys on TSN and had to look twice. What an ugly design.
The old Team Canada jersey was a great looking uniform.
Why would they mess with a good thing?

Next they will be introducing the Lance Armstrong helmets with long points covering the pony tails.
Really tight fitting jerseys will look good on the girls in the stands.

Team Canada's new uniform too tight? Want to change? Just do itBy GRANT KERR Friday, August 19, 2005 Page S1 KELOWNA, B.C. -- Turns out Nike's new snug-fitting uniform for Canada's men's Olympic hockey team works better on the dance floor with a pair of jeans than on the ice. At least, that's the view of the players at a team orientation camp in Kelowna, B.C. It took all of one period during yesterday's scrimmage for all of Canada's top players to elect to remove their new duds, which were unveiled with some fanfare on Wednesday, and go back to their conventional practice uniforms. The problem? The new look is just a wee bit too svelte. Not to mention restrictive. - tinyurl.com/7t7p6
