Even though he has a winning record, Quinn made his last batch of whine after losing 5-2 to Philly on Saturday night. www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=140964&hubname=And we wonder why nary a Leaf can go to the box without berating a referee. And in that 5-2 loss to Philly, it was 1-1 near the end of the second period when Richards scored shorthanded while Toronto had a 5-on-3. Leafs made mistakes and lost fair and square. The three 3rd period Flyer goals were all scored 5-on-5. Quinn makes no sense.

We see plenty of physical play and great hits, the NHL is more exciting this year than it has been for decades and the last thing we need is for dinosaures like Quinn and Clark to try and drag the game back to the clutch/grab/hold travesty that the game had became. Seems like the NHL has finally grown some balls.

This is something I’ve been saying for years now, that the league should be doing. How many companies allow their employees to publicly denigrate their own product?? You do this in the NFL, you get a huge fine. You do this at GM, you get fired.
The NHL is an entertainment industry, selling a product. If you allow your own employees to tell people the product sucks, why in the world would they buy it??
