Leafs Attempting to Smother Habs Anniversary?

Looks like the Leafs are going to put in a bid to be the host of the 2009 World Junior Championship which would pit them against the Habs among others (Sens with the 67s, Halifax, Saskatoon and Quebec City).

Habs want to host the World Junior Championship because they'll have been in the league 100 years.

Leafs want to host because it'll be 100 years since they've witnessed ANY kind of championship.

Closest the Leafs will get to a parade is raining on somebody else's.
