for David Tanabe. Looks like the Bruins fill their hole on defence, but at a pretty steep price.

I had heard that Leetch was back in 1-2 weeks so I am a little surprised by this move. I haven't seen enough of Tanabe - I think Carolina drafted him as an offensive type but that really hasn't panned out that well.
Scatchard has decent size & has been around the 20 goal mark twice. I agree, the price for Tanabe was a little high although nhlpa.com shows Scatchard making about 2.1 and Tanabe at 950,000.
