Stock may be a retired goon, but he has friends in the NHL, and has sat in plenty of dressing rooms. I think he probably has a pretty good feel for the mentality of many NHL players, and team / coach dynamics. And Koivu doesn't? For sure he does, but I wouldn't expect anything other than respectful, carefully worded comments from Koivu. He's a classy guy, and always aware of the implications of his comments in the media. Out of curiosity, I didn't hear Koivu's comments on MT. What did he say, and in what context?

So, if I read between your lines, you're saying you think he has a good chance of flourishing in his new posting and I think he'll fail miserably. We'll need to define "flourish" and "miserable failure". Which one? Lol, any of those beauties will do. You're right, there has to be some sort of measureable delineation between 'flourishing success' and 'miserable failure'.
