I heard the habs are talking to Washington about Witt.
apparently the habs are offering a draft pick. This might have something to do with Souray getting hurt last night.
The habs are supposed to be still trying to get Daze. But Chicago wants Higgins & Hainsey.

We had a Daze and sent him to junior and the other one we had we traded. Montreal management don't like big dominating players. Oh wait maybe that's why they like Daze.... maybe there is something to this Daze thing afterall.
I doubt this has any validity at all.
The Witt rumours have been ongoing since the last season. Gainey had his chance to get him.

Gainey had his chance to get him. Please. By the "other one" are you referring to Hossa? His stats are not even comparable to those of Daze who has been scoring 20-30 goals per season since he was 20 years old.
