Lindros took a slapshot in the second period against Ottawa on Saturday and tore something in his tender wrist. Surgery this week....done for the season.
He's this year's Owen Nolan. Another bust signing for Toronto. At $1.5 million I guess it wasn't much of a risk....but still he was supposed to take the pressure off Sundin. He showed spark early....but Mr. Glass cracks again.

I think Lindros & company have botched this big time. He was injured Dec. 12( I heard it on the FAN590) & did everything he could to avoid surgery. He pronounces himself ready to play & then tears ligaments just taking a shot!
If he had the surgery then he would probably be playing now. Another MLSE fiasco.

I knew from a lawyer friend that Lindro's had signed. This is third hand but he was actually telling people that it was the "rebirth" of him and the Laffs.
THUNK.

Lindros actually said, the "re-dearth" of he and the Leafs, so truly, he was right. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy or organization.

I was hoping he'd last a little longer so he could be blasted by Komisarek.
