Kovalev's hit, although it appears wasn't an elbow but it was a charge as he left his feet, not that Tucker would know anything about that.

No need to be arrogant about it, Skilly.

If Kovalev elbowed him then his elbow would be either on his face at the moment in the picture or ABOVE his head after impact. If Kovalev elbowed him, Tucker would still be lying down in a hospital somewhere, without a nose and with a "CCM" tatooed on his right cheek ! It was a calculated hit and the purpose was to shake him hard, but I agree with you, it was not an elbow to the face !

If somebody could Photo-Shop a picture of Tucker's maniacal face (you know, when he's absolutely lost it) into that of Jack Nicholson's "Here's Johnny" from "The Shining"....it would be a perfect fit. "Here's Darcy!"

I'm expecting the Leafs to be a their scrappiest, and whiniest tonight. We need another strong game from the Habs, and lots of discipline. Go Habs! Haha.. already done. I posted this one a couple of weeks ago.

On Thursday Tucker was hit by Kilger's stick. He immediately drops his stick & gloves and races to the dressing room covering his face. As you could expect, he did return to the game.
Ah, Darcy Tucker - the NHL's drama queen.

No need to be arrogant about it, Skilly. Sorry, I didnt mean to be ..... I just have had this arguement many times since that game. You show the picture to Leaf fans, or people who think it is an elbow and you get "That is a snap shot in time, it could be after he hit his face!" . Well no ... if anything I would say the only thing that is possible is that Kovalev's elbow "could have" hit his face after striking Tucker's chest ... but it doesn't. Sorry to sound demeaning .....
