Well, it appears the Canucks have played themselves right out of a playoff spot. Losing 3 in a row (once in OT), I'm wondering what happened. This team is much better than that, although at 90 points with one game left isn't much to shake your head at. www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/news_story/?ID=162533&hubname=nhl-canucks

I think there are a host of problems there. I think we'll see a house cleaning this summer. Crawford, Bertuzzi, and maybe more. Crawford is not Nonis' guy. He was Burke's guy. The season is a total failure for a team with as much talent as the Canucks have.

Injuries were obviously a big factor. The Canucks have always had poor team defense, and when they lost their goalie and had so many injuries to their defensemen it really showed. The theory in the Vancouver Sun is that Bertuzzi and Naslund were both affected by all the negativity surrounding Bertuzzi and that Morrison suffered because he played between them.
