Even Al Quaida suicide bombers hold a job longer than Keenan. Nice guys finish last. Keenan is finished. Keenan isn't nice. This season he did last longer than the GM for the Islanders, but just.

This story stinks worse than a skunk that squeezed one out before becoming roadkill. Something very strange going on behind the scenes. If he was forced out because of Luongo why the heck didn't they relieve him before?
I too feel this was Keenan's last kick at the can. The only way he gets another shot is if the league expands again and the new team can't convince Mel Bridgeman to sign on.

It reminds me of Gerald Ford replacing Richard Nixon and Fords first act as president, praising Nixon and pardoning him for all his sins.
