Just caught a bit of the game on Laffs t.v. Gill, Kubina and McCabe were just brutal. SSSSSSSlllllooooowwwwwwwer than molasses in January. Sabres forwards buzzing everywhere. Raycroft left out to dry in the wind. All 4 goals on the PP. Habs should kill the Laffs this year if this is any indication. I realize it's one exhibition game, but i like it.  |

Leafs very undisciplined by all reports. 11 penalties. I hope that's a sign of things to come. A slow defense brings about a lot of clutching, grabbing, and hooking...and I hope they're nailed for it.
Aubin played well after taking over from Tellqvist (after those two defeats in Montreal ;D), but I watched a lot of those games, and the Leafs got away with way too much. You'd almost think the refs wanted them to sneak into the post-season.

It mercifully ended with Harrison taking a holding penalty while the crowd jeered." As someone funnier than me posted..."I'm tearing again." The Leafs need an older, more experienced proven coach...is Pat Quinn available? |
