Was watching the Leafs/Sens last night and the level of officiating wasn't near as bogus as it was last season. While they missed a few but the overall level of officiating wasnt' all that bad. They were quick to call interference on dump-ins but and stick infractions but there weren't any "New NHL" type calls like last year.
Be interesting to see if this is a league-wide transition.

They were quick to call interference on dump-ins but and stick infractions Noted that too. Very quick at times, and at least one comes to mind whare I thought Wha . . .?But maybe the refs are setting the tone early in the season.

I felt the leafs got a break on the penalty shot. It looked like Sundin got his shot away before the trip. Even Domi agreed!
