Watching the game and they just mentioned Habs Head Scout Pierre Gauthier is at the game tonight. Looking to fleece Mad Mike perhaps.

Gauthier sure does get around. Something is definitely afoot. Is he there for the Flames or the Isles, I wonder?
Methinks the Flames at this point. The Isles just changed coaches and Mad Mike is about to go.

The Flames are being scouted because the Habs are playing them next week.

It's possible that he's scouting both. The Flames were at one point looking for help at centre. Not sure Ribs fits the bill, but it may be the avenue they're pursuing there.
Off hand, I can't think of what Gauthier would be scouting from the Islanders.
