From a insider on another site. I don't know how credible he is but this is what he is saying :
Souray/Ryder for Bell/Aucoin talks are still up. But, Tallon is wondering if he can include Khabibulin in the deal, if Gainey includes Theodore.

The Habs would be taking on more salary and contract length in all positions there plus Khabibulin's numbers are worse than Theodore's.
I wish people making up these rumors would actually think it through. It looks like the person that thought this one up just took similar players from each team and plugged them into the trade rumor template without much thought.

Ryder is the only guy on the team having a good year.
Souray has offense and defense and hits when he calms down plus he's a character individual. He's having a tough time now but is capable of being GREAT when he's settled down and he's not over the hill.
None of the rumors make any sense.

If Theo is traded........ its for a bonafide player in the Lecaivalier, Bertuzzi ilk. IMO Khabibulin I would want no part of I think he's even more overated than Theo despite his cup.

No way that deal goes down. It doesn't solve our problems. BTW, do we need another thread talking about rumours with the Hawks?
