Auld/Bertuzzi for Theo/Souray/1st Tampa is dangling Brad Richards to get some goaltending help. There are increasing suggestions that the Wild are close to obtaining C Brad Richards from the Tampa Bay Lightning for goalie Manny Fernandez. sportsline

Spacek and LW Jacques from Hamilton would be an interesting package. I know it isn't much in return but salary would be gone and a spot opened for Danis
They could have Souray if we could get Kesler.
Spacek takes Souray's spot, Jacques provides some great potential on LW and Kesler gives us a big RH centre.
Allows the team to say goodbye to Ribeiro and Bonk as well.

The Sabres have 3 goalies need only 2. The Bruins have 3 goalies need only 2. All have contracts that don't pay as well as Theo. The Oilers are well known for their frugality. I can't see them taking Theo.

Right. I see Biron going before Raycroft because he's playing a lot better. I'm not so sure that the Sabres will deal either Miller or Biron this season. I mean you got most teams paying more for their starting goalie than they are for 2 very capable goalies combined: Ryan Miller - 2005/06 Compensation: $501,600.00 Martin Biron - 2005/06 Compensation: $2,128,000.00 I would think they are more likely to trade Noranen than either of these two guy's unless they get made a huge offer. Keep in mind that they are doing as well as they are and will get a real boost at the trade deadline in the form of their co-captain and leading point getter from last season in the form of Daniel Briere. Either way, this is a problem most GM's dream of having.
