Eklund (who I wholeheartedly mock) suggests that
Alexander Daigle could be waived or moved soon according to sources. Alexander is always a temptation....Montreal has shown some interest.
This would indeed be a sign of desperation. "Say it ain't so, Bob".

He didn't say when they showed interest which lets him off the hook - again. Eklund - why do we bother reading it. I know I'm guilty of it too but really, Daigle? If Daigle is such a temptation why is Lemaire waiving him? Maybe the interest they showed was on his draft day.

Hey, why not ?
Assuming we're moving some bodies elsewhere, Daigle could be a useful fill-in on the wing, and help keep us a fast team.

Mr. Daigle has a bigger HOLE in his game then a bagel.
Pass....and I mean PASS!

Honestly, a team that is already lacking grit can hardly afford both Ribeiro and Daigle on the same team.

I think if his name was Alexander Daniel, we’d all be like, “More points, and cheaper than both Zednik and Sundstrom, good skater, decent size, might a good 3rd liner with Bonk and Bulis.”
But alas, his name isn’t Daniel, it’s Daigle, and that name brings (still) certain expectations and preconceptions with it…

I would pass on Daigle too.
He's not doing that great in Minny (28 pts, -6) and I don't think that coming to the fishbowl that is Montreal, would benefit his game in any way.
As a matter of fact, I think that the pressure of playing in Montreal might make him worse.
Just my two cents.

Daigle? I though he'd be filming midget porn in Hollywood by now.
For him to be able to stick around this long is amazing, I would pick him up if he was cheap enough, might be able to help out on the powerplay.

He seemed to revel in the attention he was getting in Junior especially. That being said, I don't see him as better than anyone on the present roster.

Ok! I'll admit it. There was a time many moons ago when I thought MTL should have picked up Daigle when he was attemping his comeback.
I felt that perhaps Mtl could have provided the spark needed to jump start his heart - that we might be the missing link for him to get his game together. We had done it before, taking a chance with Brian Fogerty, why not Daigle? Fogarty didn't work out and perhaps Daigle wouldn't have either, but I think he was worth a shot...then!
....not now!
