It has been confirmed on the air with Fournier on CKAC radio this afternoon. Blues offer Eric Weinrich for either Richard Zednik or prospect Andrei Kostitsyn. Negociations are still active.

St.Louis request for Weinrich was either Zednik and a young Quebecer prospect that played quite well in pre-season (he didn't mentionned any names but it's obvliously Guillaume Latendresse).

i smell bull$Saperlipopette. all weinrich is good for is a 3-5th round pick, nothing more. Zednik has shown to step it up a few notches in the playoffs. he may not be scoring but he's still hitting, just ask belak. i would not trade any players on our roster right now, only draft picks.

I fully agree with all of the above.

No way does Wienrich nets St-Louis a top prospect... For Weinrich I'd give them Pierre Dagenais or Jim Montgomery....
