I don't know what to think about this.
He's the best fighter in the league, we'd be a lot more intimidating with him in the lineup, that's for sure.
I haven't seen him play a lot this year, is he really that far behind in the ''new'' nhl??
I'd rather see guys like Lapierre and Ferland be given a chance...
Would he be ready to have a diminished role (play when he's asked to basically) and be reasonable salary wise??
I think i'd pass on him, but i'd be really tempted to give it a shot...

Hell no. I'd really be questioning Gainey's intelligence if he offers Laracque anything more than a couple of bucks. He'd be taking a place away from a youngster eager and rigtfully earning of a spot. Besides fighting is way down in the league and we need tough players that can skate, shoot and pass. Not knuckles with skates. Hopefully Gainey's pissed with Laracque's statement from a few years ago regarding the Habs and retirement and is just toying with him.
