Heard it on AM 640 this morning (Tuesday, Oct. 31). New GM Holmgren looking to make a major deal to shake things up.
If Vinnie is too expensive....what would it take to get Gagne? Or do we even need him?
I'll try to find a web link.

I've never been a Gagne fan. He has all the tools, but doesn't really excel on his own. It wasn't until he got on a line with Forsberg that he really took off.

Odd. You'd figure the Flyers would keep all of their "New NHL" type players.
Then again it could be a move to buy some cap breathing room.
Cheers.

I want to see what we can do with what we have. I'm not interested in taking on a big contract. We'd have to move one to make it happen, and I don't think the Flyers are looking to do that. We also have Souray and Markov to think about. Both are important pieces. It will be very hard to retain both, but one will be and the other dealt for depth or left to walk away. We can't add salary without risking the chance of losing both, and losing both would be bad.
