Got this from off the post.
"Reports out of colorodo have the habs
sending theodore and a 3rd rounder to colorodo
for derrick morris alex tanguey and 2 2nd rounders "
Any thoughts on this possible trade rumour.
I think it a possible trade and good for both sides.

I think once in 10 years enough to be robbed by Colorado in a goaltending deal. Morris would be a great asset coming over. I'm not a big fan of Tanguay, however. Another inconsistent, soft, skilled winger is the last of the Habs needs.
As others have mentioned, we'd be dealing Theo from a position of strength, and should take full advantage by packaging some dead wood along with Theo (Brisebois or Audette).
Having said all that, I have no interest in Trading Theo right now - unless we got an absurdly good offer.

I wouldn't deal Theodore but if it was to happen I sure hope it would be in a trade aimed at making the club better not a trade to chase him out (a la Roy). Morris would be the corner stone of that deal but frankly great young dmen isn't something we're lacking right now.

the first post was obviously a joke and that's why the user is now gone.
Hejduk and Morris should be the only offer Habs even consider.

The almost compulsive need to see a source is in fact to determine the credibility of the original news item or trade proposal. A Bob MacKenzie rumour on TSN has much more value than a trade proposal just posted on a message board. Once the credibility is in question, then the floodgates open!!
