I've read on the NHL.com and TSN.ca that Pitkanen may be available. the NHL. com rumour suggests Pitkanen to Edmonton for Torres and Lupul. I would be surprised if they'd actually deal him without getting a good puck-moving dman in return.
could Bob possibly get involved into this? what would it take to get Philly's interest?

If the nhl.com rumour site has credible information than in the same sort of deal we would have to give up 2 of Higgins, Ryder, Latendresse, Perezhogin or Pleky

There are also stories about Joni's injury struggles. He's been banged up the last couple of seasons. He's talented no doubt, but there are definite question marks imo.

I even throw in the gift wrap and and handful of Willy Wallers. ;D Seriously though, Philly needs more puck moving dmen, I don't see why they'd want to trade their only one. |
