what the hell do these idiots see in Chow that makes them think he is a DEFENSIVE MINDED FORWARD? I can't believe this!!!!! this is incompetence at it's finest! Juneau out this game and the next btw.

Why wouldn't they just do this:
Zednick/Koivu/Czerk
Gilmour/Perrier/Mckay
Bulis/Kilger/Dackell
or put Gilmour in between Bulis and Dackell.
I don't know, but putting czerk in on the third line seems strange to me.

it's called knowing what your personel can do for you. If you want a guy who can replace Juneau on a 3rd line, bring a Lindsay into the lineup, tell Kilger to play a defensive role for 2 games, but don't put a softish, horrible defensively, lazy, offensive minded forward on that line...

ya never know, it might just work. let's wait and see. I agree maTT. Sometimes a scorer can't get untracked and doesn't play well defensively. If you force him to check and give up some offense, he can concentrate on his checking. It will also match him against the other teams scoring line and their lack of checking might spring him loose for a few scoring chances. If he can't make it now this could be his last shot here. Go Czerk. Go Bezerk! or go somewhere else!!

Well, one thing I can think of is that the Sabers are one of the lowest scoring teams in the NHL, I believe. So, your 3rd line doesn't have to be at it's best, and I think they should have given Juneau the night off either way. If this doesn't work out, maybe move Gilmor, McKay or Kilger on that line, and move Chow or Audette up.
