Think about it. He's not injured but Juneau is. In my opinion there's no other player on our roster than can center that line and keep it effective. You can't break up the 2nd line at this point. Not when Gilmour is finally scoring on the wing and not while Yanic is kickin' ass night in and night out. There's no other player who's solid enough defensively who can center Bulis and Dackel. Which leaves a spot open on the 1st line. I'll go out on a limb and say Audette will take it.
If Audette starts scroing on that line by some freak miracle. Kilger might find himself in the pressbox once Juneau comes back...Just something to think about.

If Audi goes on the first line, watch what other teams start to do, they'll take runs at Koivu and Zednik more than they do now. What the hec, bring back knuckles Nilan and put him on the first line.

That in the long run is probably where Kilger belongs. I would like us to bring up Ward to replace Kilger if we can't deal for another large body. We've seen what the presence of having some larger bodies is doing on the top two lines. I want to keep it that way. HFTO

I wouldn't move Kilger off of the 1st line. They're doing well together. I would try Lindsay with Dackell and Bulis. He is very solid defensively and is always a spark plug out there. He would bring a little more grit to the line up. He's definately an offensive downside compared to Juneau, but this should only be a short term solution, and the offense has been coming mostly from the top 2 lines anyway.

If Kilger loses his job it's not because of injury. It's because of his lack of goals, his +/-, his lack of hitting or all three. Kilger can skate, he's big, and he works hard. The Canadiens are small, have a lousy +/- record, and don't hit. If Kilger can't earn a permanent spot on this team (like soooo many teams before) he doesn't deserve one and it's nobody's fault but his. I really like the guy, his enthusiasm (sometimes), his size (always), speed and cement hands. There is a place for him if he earns it. Hell, if he can't fool Therrien into thinking he is an integral cog and valuable contributor, who can he fool. Go get it Killer! Skate, shoot, hit, dass all!

Well this sucks, if Juneau misses a lot of time. Any update on him yet? It doesn't sound good. We play the Sabers, NYI, Sens, Pitt, and Flames over the next 10 days, so lucky for us, the Sabers and Flames aren't the most gifted on offence, but we really need Juneau agianst the Sens and Pens. Damn refs, just how the hell do they not blow the play dead? Let alone a penalty. Anyway, I would keep Kilger on the top line, and move Bulis to center the 3rd line. Put Lindsay at LW so it would be Lindsay Bulis Dackell. Blouin Ribs Chow/Audette. Unless Juneau is out for some time, then I would move Gilmor to the 3rd line center (maybe) and bring up Hossa to play on Perreault's LW. To me, it's either Ward or Hossa, and even though Ward has 40 pts and is 2nd in the AHL in scoring, he's not much bigger then Hossa, and doesn't have the skill level of Marcel. Hossa is on fire right now, as he leads the AHL in shooting Percent 31.5%, 2nd in Game Winning goals (6), he's 3 goals away from all of last seasons totals (14 goals this year, 17 last season), but unless Juneau is out for some time, I wonder if they will call up anyone.

IMO, knowning these are the Habs if JJ is out for a few games expect them to call up...well no one... I'd call up Hossa before Ward or Gratton IF and only IF we will use him on a top 3 line. If you want a 4th liner call up Gratton or Ward

just what i was thinking marc... if we're gonna call hossa i'd like to see him playing with koivu and zedder, he just isn't a 4th line type player. if they called up ward i wouldnt mind seeing him on the second line and moving up the hot gilmour to the first possibly (if kilger is forced onto the third), as mckay and perreault are slow like him and talented players he could work with, or he could play a good 4th line role for us. i think gratton is too small to be utilized by our team right now, we already have enough small guys. if juneau is out for a while then i'd really like to see a call up, these kids have earned a chance, but they likely won't get much of on

If you want a 4th liner call up Gratton or Ward In the journal this morning they said AS told them he will call up a D for the trip in west most likely Bouillon if every thing are going good on his return during the week end...sorry Marc but it appeard Hainsey is not going to well recently as for Hossa before Ward and Gratton you know what I think...but we have enough foward to manage 4 lines...let the kids develop in the system b4 the big league As for the Juneau spot...chair like I usualy say let Ribiero have a chance to take it and do a 4rth line who is a realy checking one Lindsay with Blouin and Chow

I have no problem with them calling up Bouillon instead of Hainsey. We all know Hainsey would only play half the games and it's better to have Bouillon waste his time in the pressbox than a young 21 year old. Now...you want to put Chow on a checking line?

Czerkawski, Audette and Balej would make an awsome line............ ......in Hamilton. Send them down and bring up Hossa and Ward.
