From Spector's Trade Rumours:
LISTING OF POTENTIAL DEADLINE DAY TRADE CANDIDATES.
Shawn P. Roarke recently listed "25 players, in alphabetical order, that could be in play in the days leading up to the Feb. 27 deadline." He lists Chicago's Adrian Aucoin, Boston's Brad Boyes, St. Louis's Eric Brewer, Anaheim's Ilya Bryzgalov, Columbus's Anson Carter, Ottawa's Joe Corvo, Chicago's Jassen Cullimore, Minnesota's Pascal Dupuis, Philadelphia's Peter Forsberg, St. Louis's Bill Guerin, Philadelphia's Mike Knuble, New Jersey's David Hale, Pittsburgh's Ryan Malone, LA's Aaron Miller, San Jose's Evgeny Nabokov, Phoenix's Ladislav Nagy, NY Rangers Petr Prucha, Florida's Gary Roberts, Chicago's Bryan Smolinski, LA's Brent Sopel, Boston's Brad Stuart, Florida's Jozef Stumpel, Carolina's David Tanabe, St. Louis's Keith Tkachuk and Toronto's Darcy Tucker.
Spector's Note: Aucoin's contract and injury history will keep him in Chicago. The B's won't give up on Boyes. Given the injuries both Anaheim goalies have suffered this season I don't see them moving Bryzgalov. It's anyone's guess what Forsberg's situation is, but I don't see the Flyers shopping Knuble, whom they re-signed earlier in the season. The Devils are playing very well so there's no reason to move Hale. Malone is intriguing but GM Ray Shero claims he's not shopping him. Nabokov's salary is too rich for most teams to absorb. I'd like to believe the Rangers won't part with Prucha for a quick fix, but their slide down the standings could result in just such a move. Tucker won't be traded.
