Rumour on spector says George may be available. I would have no problem with him on our team. Maybe guys like Chris Neil would stop taking liberties. It also looks like the Pigeons might be interested as well.

Laraque has adamantly and repeatedly stated that he doesn't want to play in Montreal. But who knows? People do change their minds.

When he was a drifting UFA with little interest shown he changed his tune and uttered he would love to play in Montreal. Gainey wasn't amused nor was I.

Laraque seems to have found a home in Phoenix. He's having at least as good a season as Samsonov, with a record of 5-15-20, +4 as opposed to 7-15-22, 0 for the latter. And at under one third the salary. And with a slightly more robust style of play.

Maybe guys like Chris Neil would stop taking liberties. And Sens fans want McGrattan in the lineup so guys like Lapierre stop taking liberties

I think it's more that people think he's our Darcy Tucker... Our new Claude Lemieux. I only hope Lapierre can match Lemieux's 10 20+ goal NHL seasons (379 career goals). Perchance not to dream.

I don't like the idea of a guy who didn't want to play in Montreal a few years ago, but he's exactly what we need, so I think he has to be seriously considered...
