Well, well, well...our Habs are playing 2 of the super powers of the east so far. 2 big teams. If Kilger/Lindsay/Blouin are not in the lineup, MT should be fired on the spot. We need guys who bring some JAM(to quote Pierre McGuire). Guys who will hit and can protect our smaller players. One of Chow/Petrov/Audi must sit. I vote for the rat. He has done squat the last few games. Ribeiro can take a seat in the pressbox for both games Theodore against Boston on Friday. Hackett against Philly on Saturday. Theodore plays against the team he stole a playoff series from and has rarely played bad at the Fleet and Hackett plays against a team that has already destroyed Theo twice this year. Now knowing MT, he'll probably have the 3 softish RW's in the lineup, Ribeiro in, Hackett in on Friday and Theo in on saturday

and we lost game 4 of the Carolina series because of it...
If MT has a black suit, no way does Fraser give him that minor that gave the Canes their 2 minute 5 on 3 PP. But with a yellow suit(it flashes) it was easier to notice MT drop a couple of F bombs on Fraser and voila...

i don't think therrien is stupid enough to go with a small line up for these games (philly especially). stupid yes, that stupid, no.
my proposed lines:
kilger - koivu - zednik gilmour - perreault - chow bulis - juneau - dackell blouin - lindsay - mckay
*kilger brings to the top unit which it will definitely need to create chances against such power house teams
*blouin brings strength, lindsay can play center and also brings grit and intensity.
out: petrov, ribeiro, audette. all these guys are too small, i chose to keep chow in the line up because i feel he's the most gifted offensively of the bunch, and is still fresh off a multi-game benching, another one and he'd have an awful time swallowing it, leading to him running his mouth to the media again, something the team (coaching staff in particular) does not need.

kilger - koivu - zednik gilmour - perreault - chow bulis - juneau - dackell blouin - lindsay - mckay I like it. But is Zed really as good on the right as the left? If you wanted to really go wild, we could do something like this: Bulis/Koivu/Czerkawski Zednick/Gilmour/Petrov Juneau/Kilger/Dackell Blouin/Lindsay/Mckay Sit Perreault, Audette and Ribeiro. Reunite the Gilmour line and see what they can do. I'd make sure that the third line saw as many minutes against Thornton as we could manage, with Juneau taking the face-offs and Kilger instructed to get in Thornton's face and stay there, all night long....Kilger has the jam to do the job. And he's rested, what with averaging about 8 minutes of ice a night. The thing about this lineup is that if things don't click you can switch them up without missing a beat: Zednick/Koivu/Czerkawski Kilger/Gilmour/Petrov Bulis/Juneau/Dackell Blouin/Lindsay/Mckay or Zednick/Koivu/Czerkawski Bulis/Gilmour/Petrov Kilger/Juneau/Dackell Blouin/Lindsay/Mckay The important thing is that every line will have someone on it who's capable of doing some work along the boards. If we see Perreault centering Gilmour and Petrov again I think I'll puke....

Zed has been flourishing ever since being put at LW. I'd keep him there for now.

yeah, leave zed on LW... but as for sitting yanic, i'm not too sure about that. he's such a sniper, his skating and defense might not be right up there, but i'd get him into the line up. he's also great at winning clutch draws in our end, and playing the pp.

I have yet to see YP lose a key draw in our end with the game on the line that led to a goal. Maybe it happened, but I don't remember. The times we got burned, Juneau took the draws(game 4 against Carolina). Perreault is no Ilya Kovalchuk defensively(he is not that bad), you have the best faceoff man in the league, use him WHEN YOU NEED TO WIN A DRAW. As for Zed on LW or RW...for now keep him at LW...but in the future with guys like Hossa/Bulis/Kilger/Perezhogin coming back and being all better LW's than C's Zed could be a RW for us(along with Milroy and Balej) Bulis-Koivu-Zed Hossa-Plekanec-Balej Perezhogin-Higgins-Milroy Kilger on a 4th line Pretty nice if the prospects pan out

I see people are starting to jump on my Bulis Bandwagon it's about bloody time. First line duty for one of our hardest working young winger's should be a natural desicion that will show hard work has it's benefit's instead of the usual you suck so you get to play on the PP BS we have seen so far.

Having fun with the dumb and dumber pics vipe? ;D
I have been on the Bulis bandwagon since the start of the season...I still think we should leave him on the checking line for now...but in the future, he should get a shot at a top 2 line spot.

Unfortunatly. The game was lost 4-2 Against the Boston Bruins. Kilger was the only hitter on the ice and played a good yet short 3 minutes. Now Marc I see you mensioned first you would put Blouin in the works for this game and phillie, well.. he's a good hitter and trouble maker but penalty lurker. Lindsay, Kilger, McKay would have been plenty. Boston owned the checking in this game and I have no clue why Lindsay was not called. Traverse lead the ice time for the habs ( ) and Theo was like the playoffs against Boston, amazing. Marc, I agree with your choice of goalies 100%. Theo deserved to be there this afternoon and Hackett needs to be on against Phillie. Now about the Audi/K/Zed line.. I don't think Audi should be there and if so, should not be the penetrating player for offense. He's like Perreault, very light, but can make a huge diference in front of the net. Koivu is amazing along the boards and Zednik aswell, the break-up on that line is having Audette handle the boards. Philie will be short of John-john for the game tomorrow (Saturday), I think the Lindsay call should be made for this one but not too sure about Blouin again. I will give credit to Blouin for having the ability to switch the momentum around after a mear few hits, which is a definate advantage. However, the penalties must come to an end. We have yet to find the key to penalty killing even with Juneau's magic. Ribero is a no no. I give him the the forehead stamp for the Philie game. *Sit Me*. Chow. (no comment) Dackel. stick with the penalty killing rocket scientist. But I will say this, if Audette and Perreault get used infront of the net, magic will happen. Have them both on diferent lines but match the right players to play the puck in, and they will finish the job with a cherry on top. Find out who keeps centering the puck blindly for no reason and they will be Audi's and sniper boy YP's linemates. Note: I say Petrov/Audi/McKay why? because Petrov gets the puck in the offensive zone with ease, but doesn't know what to do once in.. he centers the puck. Audi is there to breakdance in front of Goalie, and McKay is a board player, he can hold the puck and control along the board.

FIRE THERRIEN Looks like that is what will happen. I agree. We need a power forward RW to complement that line. Audi is not the answer...Donald, just go away..retire, take a vacation, just GO AWAY!!! BTW welcome aboard
