Please advise....I can't find any reason why oleg is being scratched. There have been enough other players with slow starts that I don't see why he's sat the past couple games.
Thanks.

Welcome aboard Deportivo
Little Oleg is part of the shuffle Audette and Chow are signed for a couple year's and all three are the same type of player we only have one guy that can be effective as a center for the three of em and that's Saku. With Zednik and him clicking so well and a big contract for Audette it seems Oleg's days in Habland are numbered.
cheer's.
Viper.

This board just keeps getting larger every day. As Marc and Viper have said, welcome aboard, DH.
Have you ever seen a player do as much as Petrov with so little to show for it? Incredible. The guy is all over the ice it seems and he just can't buy a break this year.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the Vipe(ster) insomuch as Oleg's days in Montreal may be numbered. I honestly like the guy, but he may just have to move in the future. Isn't he approaching UFA this year, if not the next? He contributed last year, but this year he seems to be snake-bitten. Ah, well.
BTW, please take the time to read the Code of Conduct post on top of the board. Nice to see you and Beliveau4ever (B4E) on line. We all look forward to reading your ideas and opinions.
Good posting to you. Don't be a stranger (ditto B4E) Cheers.

I read somewhere the other day, that there's a option year at the end of this season on Petrov's contract, and I think it was at the players option. But nothing will get done during the season, so we will have to wait to see what happens.

I'm not so sure Petrov has played badly but he has been ineffective. he may be on his way out but i think that will depend on which player (Aud, Pet, Cz) AS can get the most for. Petrov may be the most attractive to other teams because of his salary but if his contract is coming due than i don't think teams will give up much.
