rumours are swirling in vancouver that ohlund, schneider, bourdon and morrison are available. i say make a pitch for ohlund and morrison in exchange for a winger/d-man and a prospect or pick, it seems like vancouver wants to do a bit of a salary dump. morrison is overpaid, but he's a hard worker, smart player, and a good #2 center. ohlund is ohlund, reliable, steady, a horse.
why not deal them dandy and a pick and prospect. not sure how the salaries work, but it solves the 2nd line center position and gives us a true #2 d-man.

I don't have a lot of interest in Morrison. IMO he lived off of the chemistry that Naslund and Bert had for a couple of seasons. On the flip, I'd love to have Ohlund in our lineup. Mattias is a great two-way blueliner.

I can't see Bourdon being available. He's the type of young, inexpensive blueliner that teams need to break into their lineup.
And Schnieder - which one to you mean?

i don't think that they want to deal both, either or is what i'm hearing. ohlund because of his salary and they already are deep at the blueline. possibly to make room for bourdon, or for a good scoring winger for the sedins i could see them moving bourdon.
i also like bmo, i expect people on the east coast who never see him play to look at his stats and say no way, but he's a good smart player, works hard in both ends, plays injured is the current ironman, and even though he's overpaid it may give us a chance to dump samsonov.

probably Cory/Corey, their goalie prospect. R. yeah corey schneider their prospect, they have luongo and probably are expecting to keep him for good so schneider is not useful anymore, but is good trade bait.

I take Ohlund because we can afford him and he can actually PLAY defesne instead of acting like one on TV. (see Souray in his mini series, "So You Think You Can Play Defense". )

Colour me entirely skeptical about Ohlund. He has embraced North American culture and British Columbia like few others. I would have the tendency to agree with the statement that it's actually more likely he becomes a resident here than return to Sweden.

Not if he is doing it for another team ... I will take pride in that he is doing well but I'd rather he do well for us. Ryder will be the next John LeClair when he is run out of town ..... a Hab killer.
