Personally if we're going to give up something for a potential young power Forward, I'd like to see us take a shot at getting Taylor Pyatt, from Buffalo. I don't know if Rupp has all that much offensive upside, but if we could trade one of our smaller young players(Balej), why not add some size.

Rupp would be a good addition to the team with his size, but I dont know if NJ will be trading him with thei lack of C for this season, and his performance in game 7 was great. Buffalo would demand too much for a player like Pyatt, and I dont think we are willing to give up some of our top 5 prospects for him right now. A player I would go after is Kyle Wanvig from Minnesota. Hes a potential PF whos falling down their depth chart because of inconsistantcy, but has a great mean streak, good hands and is a great clutch player. (5 goals in 3 games, 3 of them GWG in the first round of the Calder last year). He may not reach his top line PF potential, but he would cost much less and could become an enforcer for our team if he doesnt reach his potential. Injuries seem to be causing him problems, but I havent heard too much about it.

Rasmussen is a Kilger clone in terms of being an enigma and frustrating his bosses.
Both of them should be ALOT better than they have been in their careers.
