I don't know how many of you subsribe or buy the Canadiens magazine but there are several subjects related to the team's history, nostalgia and collectibles in the last two issues.
I'm a bit proud to say that I wrote a small text in the current issue (Zednik on the cover) about movies or films where the Canadiens have a central part in the theme. It's a follow-up to a text about the best hockey movies.
The current issue also has texts about former Habs Rod Langway who was recently inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame and also Mark Napier. There is also a text about hockey trades that were steals (including the acquisition of former Habs Ken Dryden, Russ Courtnall and Doug Jarvis.
The previous issue had a cover story on Saku Koivu. His comeback from cancer is already a part of the club's lore. There is also a story about the Canadiens captains thought the years.
There is a feature on the 76-77 Habs that dominated the NHL like no other team. Members of that team are honored this year preceding some Habs games this season.
Finally, collectors take note, the Habs will be giving away some Bobble Head dolls during three games in January and February. The three dolls are of Saku Koivu, José Théodore and Hall-of-Famer Jean Béliveau.
