The 1965-66 Montreal Junior Canadiens were a pretty good team. They finished a point behind the Peterborough Petes in that season's OHA standings and regularly drew five-figure crowds to their afternoon games at The Forum. Ten players from their roster went on to play in the NHL, including Jacques Lemaire, Serge Savard, Lucien Grenier, Carol Vadnais, Robin Burns and Larry Pleau. Coach Scotty Bowman also made a name for himself in the NHL in the years since then. On December 16th, 1965 they beat the World and Olympic champion Soviet team 2-1. - www.insidehockey.com/oldschool/2003_07_14.html

You know something? I tried looking for that very story not a year or so ago and couldn't find anything on it.
Thanks for that one, MB.
Cheers.
