Montréal teams and hockey players have rolled up a total of 347 trophies and awards. Oh yeah, 40 players are enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame. The next time a Leafs fan claims Toronto is the centre of the hockey universe, produce this list and ask him to top it. I can guarantee that there will be embarassing shrinkage.

Since 1892-93, when it was first awarded. So, 110 years. A Montréal club has won the Cup 36.6% of the time it's been up for grabs. Which is why Mayor Drapeau's answer to the question, "Where should we hold the parade?", is not a joke to us old-timers. The answer of course was, "Along the usual route." The last 20 years have been overall a severe letdown. Just ask HA. He'll tell you.

How many awards and trophy's since 93??? We can not rely on the past to bring us anything. We must be in the present to achieve future success. Looking back on the distant past is good for triva sakes but has no relavance in todays NHL.

I was looking and the one that really stands out is the Adams and only 2 winners that is untill i looked it up and the award only stared in '74. I can just imagine how many more with Irvin and Blake added in there.

I believe you forgot to list Dickie Moore who won it in 1957-58 and 1958-59.
