I saw the same thing on TFP. It's a real shame that Jeff's career ended so poorly. If ever there was a former Hab I wanted to see succeed it was him.  |

Good luck to Hack he was a class act all the way,too bad he couldn't have somehow finished his career here as Theo's backup.I'm disappointed the way things ended in Philly and a little surprised he didn't succeed there.

An unfortunate way to end a career for a guy as classy as Hack. I would love it if he could be brought back to the organization in some capacity sometime down the road. I wish him all the best in the next step of his life.  |

Yes, it's all unfortunate that his NHL career had (or possibly will; it's undetermined just yet) to come to an end like this, but he's got at least $10 million in the bank, so it's not like he's poor.
Hey, Jeff, mind giving me 10% of that...? It'll help pay for school.

Wow, this is really disappointing news. Hackett was one of my favorite Habs and I'd hoped he would have success after he left us. Hopefully he will be brought back into the fold at some point, but good luck to him in whatever he does next. www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=71586 |

Jeff hackett was a chip off the old Gump. I miss him a lot more than either Roy or Dryden who played with more success but less class.
