Playoffs recall championships of the past (05/12/2004) MONTREAL – Left winger Yvon Lambert played 10 seasons in the NHL -- nine with the Canadiens -- and from 1976 through 1979 had the honor of raising the Stanley Cup on four occasions. As he recalls, no feeling can compare. “It’s the crowning achievement,” Lambert said. “It signifies you’re on the best team on the planet. Everyone wants your autograph or wants to take a picture with you. From that moment on, you’re viewed as a hero in the eyes of the fans. Twenty guys work all year toward that one goal, and when you attain, I can’t even begin to explain how it feels.” - www.canadiens.com/eng/news/redirect.cfm?sectionID=habsNewsDetails.cfm&newsItemID=3776

its a well known fact that lambert is a Bon Vivant about town- nothing wrong about that but bon vin tends to damage the brain cells Lambert was a lunch pail hard working powerforward, great acceleration first stride to knock a loose rebound into the net, terrible next thirty strides. If he could skate he would have been great. If he was a bon vivant (not exactly sure what a bon vivant is) he didn't party the way Lafleur did and he showed up at the rink to work!

Im talking about life after hockey, since your in LA you dont know Lambert's reputation, I have seen him on Crescent Street several times staggering around- bon vivant means a hedonist- like I said nothing wrong with that

Nostaslgia is when the players in the NHL actually played hockey on the ice and fans could afford tickets to see them.
