Murray Wilson said he expectes Audette to play Saturday vs. Pittsburgh.
That would be great

They mentioned this before the game on TQS as well, that he had accelerated his date of return. Good for him, and good for the Habs! Now we're only missing a certain number 11, who will hopefully be joining us bientot.

Hopefully he is healthy enough to bury some of the many we missed tonight! Go Habs HFTO

excellent...it won't change much for Audette to come back Saturday or next week...being 80% or 81% won't matter. He won't be 100% until training camp next year.

Once he is ready, I hope we send Hossa down if he isn't going to be part of the regular lineup..
speaking of which:
Zed-Gilmour-Petrov Landry-Perreault-Audette Bulis-Juneau-Dackell Kilger-Van Allen-Asham.
Send Odjick to retirement....Lindsay 13th forward.

Audette's return tomorrow is hereby confirmed...Confimation comes via team 990 sports update '...Montreal's scoring gets an immidiate boost with the return of Donald Audette tomorrow against the Pens...' Excellent news for us, this man the 2nd best on our team after Koivu as far as I'm concerned. Our playoff hopes just got a very big boost. This will also affect the team's moral in a very positive way.

HOpefully he can contribute and not be scared or his timing will be ok. IMO they should have kept hossa and sent Asham down with Lindsey the odd man out.

He was not much use in the defensive zone before he came to the Hab's. I wonder now if he will skate behind the blue line again? Even in practice. .....

Oh my mistake your right he would wouldn`t he. OK I get all cofused with the rules of moving players down ie: waiver could you explain this to me. I thought once the trade deadline had passed a team could not pick up a player from another team.looking forward to gaining some clarity on this issue and other consurning the waiver rules.

I thought once the trade deadline had passed a team could not pick up a player from another team.looking forward to gaining some clarity on this issue and other consurning the waiver rules. OK, first thing...a player has to go through waivers when he has no more options left, what is an option? take the case of Hossa. When we called him up and sent him down the first time, we used an option there, when we called him up again and sent him down again(yesterday) we used another option...so that means he has 2 options used, I dunno how many he has left. Asham has been called up and down so many times since the 1999-2000 season, so when we called him up in November, that was his last remaining option. Now, he cannot return to the AHL withouth clearing waivers unless it's for a conditioning stint which lasts about 1-2 weeks. Now, I think you can claim a player on waivers at ANY TIME.IF you are a playoff team and you claim a player during a playoff series, he can't play for you in that series because he is not on your playoff roster. But if you are eliminated, you can claim players who are on waivers at any time.

What is Audi thinking taking 82 as his new number?
We have seen 60, 71, 78, 79, 90, 93, 94 and 95 already...enough is enough! we ain't a taxi squad of a footbal team!
